I'm a relative newcomer to hillwalking in Scotland and have so far only bagged a few Munros. However, I have been able to take one or two decent photos whilst out and about in this beautiful part of the world.

I've seen some excellent photos on this website but what is the photo you are most proud of taking?

Mine has to be Ben Lui taken on the path from Dalrigh in May this year:

Great composition jdmoore and a classic shot of Ben Lui.

Very hard to choose a favourite photo I think; recently I like this one on Eriskay.

Those pics are ace guys. I am also a baby when it comes to this walking and hill bagging but on my first walk around Loch Muick I caught this image which just floored me. Just Beautiful...

Wow - good post JD - and very hard to pick one pic
I've gone for this one
From Beinn Tarsuinn looking over the table to Beinn Lair
A wonderful if a bit of a frustrating day last year - only one hill climbed (tendonitis was the problem)
But worth it for this alone

One of my favourites. Taken in the Fannaichs a couple of winters ago. I'm a sucker for the layering of hills in the haze...

The one that sticks out for me would be on top of An Caisteal looking down to Loch Lomond.

Plenty of good photos here. A mixture of classic and obscure views. I also love the layering of hills (like IainG) so I've got quite a few of those, but I'll go for a different one:

Mine's my avatar pic... but I'm not putting it out anywhere so you'll just have to squint

It's from Snowdon summit to Crib Goch anyway on a crisp and sunny winter's day :D

I took this picture 20th February 2010 when walking Beinn Dorain & Beinn an Dothaidh, Bridge of Orchy.
Basic Sony DSC P200 Point-n-Shoot with 3x Optical zoom.
Just wish I had a DSLR to really do the mountains justice...

Some crackin' pictures already posted.
