Police are wanting to speak to anyone who's been in the Beinn Eighe, Beinn Dearg, Beinn Alligan and Liathach area since last Sunday (20 Sept) as part of their search for missing hillrunner Alexander Brett - more details here.

This is really affecting me.
I was on bheinn Eighe on a beautiful day 3 weeks ago and took a photo of a 60 year old fell runner who had run from kinlochewe and was doing all of the ridges...

It's a great photo but don't know whether to try to find someone to send it to.
It might be the last photo of him, if it is him...

Thoughts please?

I would just make sure the local police know you have the photo, the time, and the location you took it, that you're not sure if its him, and that you would be willing to pass it on to family members if it is. They may be able to make a positive ID of the person in the photo. It does sound to me, though, that 3 weeks ago would be too early for it to be him.

I don't think there's a lot else you can do. It is to your credit that you want to do something though.
