At least one trip to North Wales and one to the Lake District.
Ben Nevis by CMD arete and Ledge route
An Teallach
The Inn Pinn
Ring of Steall.
At least as many hills as this year and to include some longer routes.
But mainly have fun and continue to enjoy our beautiful country all year round. :D

This could possibly be the year when we finally finish the Munros - only if the Scottish weather is kind to us though!

I`ve 55 Munros left to compleat , so it looks as if I will hopefully get there - but not in 2017. Life gets in the way !
However in 2017 I do plan to go back to Skye, again on my Vespa - combining 2 hobbies into 1.
Also hoping to stay in more Bothies.

I say it every year, but have to get to Rum one of these days - booked holidays and good weather will coincide eventually!
Other than that there are a few trips I would like to do - A couple of glen wanders for a change, scrambles in Fisherfield and Knoydart that take a bit of a walk in, my dad wants to compleat this year so maybe a few munroes with him - I'm not really fussed as long as I am out 8)

2017 is already off to a bad start. 3 days off, 3 days that had excellent weather and 3 times I couldn't get myself out of bed :(

Och don't be so hard on yourself - plenty of time to get out yet and sometimes the body just isn't right for it.
I get the same thing with the gym after work.. It is only the other side of the car park from work but I sit there in the car looking at it, smoke several fags and really have to force myself (eventually) to go through the doors of doom.. :?

Scrap the gym. Go do something else with activity that you actually enjoy. Like something actually fun. No one keeps up exercise regimes when they don't enjoy the activity.

I just wish I had an exercise regime consisting of Munro climbing....

It's just a missed opportunity. I thinks it's more a mental thing rather than physical.

I used to use a gym that had a Ben MacDui challenge on their step machine

I'm still doing a lot of physio for my ankle, so it makes me dedicate the time to it or I would forget..

Day 10 of 2017...Day 12 of the lurgy!

Still, despite being the wrong side of 50, have some multi-sport aspirations for this year and next, that get in the way of hill days so have to temper it accordingly, however, have a few goals in mind for this year hill-wise.

Got some housekeeping to do on hills previously thwarted on by bad weather, e.g. Beinn Chabhair; Carn na Gabhar (Beinn a'Ghlo) & Vuirich; Meall Chuaich; Mholach; Choichuill & Eunaich; Narnain & Ime.

Keen for some longer days in spring/summer on, e.g. South Glen Shiel ridge; Cairn Toul & Co; Lochnagar & Co; Lui & Co and others. Also looking to make some inroads in ranges not yet touched, but pass all the time going to others, such as the Breadalbane/Mamlorn, Tyndrum and Orchy hills.

Longer trips planned for Torridon in early March for, hopefully, some winter mountaineering on Eighe, Slioch & Alligin then; Arkaig in June (still in the planning); Skye in August (for two remaining munros & some corbetts); annual summer family camping trip and Ardnamurchan in October for more Corbett fun. Missing Assynt and struggling to fit it in this year (although there may be a window in May to do something).

Keep picking off Sub2K's with the missus and the dog.

As long as the above includes some bike access and the odd bothy/mountain hut and/or high camp night ... I'll be happy.

All the best with your own aspirations for this year.

"The plan this year is to complete the Welsh and English Hewitts and the Wainwrights.

Also to improve on last year's total of 3 Munros."

I finished the Hewitts and Wainwrights, although I didn't manage to get to the top of the Howitzer.

Also did 8 Munros
