Hi All
This maybe a bit of a long shot but I/we our going on a winter holiday to Tarifa Spain. I have read that it is the start point of the E4 and GR7 Trails.
We our there for a few weeks so maybe do a few days walking so has any one on here walked say the first bit. Or know where I could get an actually a route map.
I have never walked on a trail abroad what could we expect I have read that the Trail is pretty well marked ie lot of finger posts?

No experience of the area around Tarifa but have spent a lot of time in the areas between Marbella and Granada .The trails are well marked and signposted and in very good condition.Trainers are sufficient.
There is a good government website which provides 1:25k maps of the whole of Spain but I lost the bookmark a few years back.It is in Spanish obviously but pretty easy to navigate. You have to register an email address and state you are a student or something like that.I found a link on a geocaching website to it.Might be worth having a look for it.If I find it again I`ll let you know.
I`m just back from Gran Canaria last month which exceeded my expectations :D
