Hi,

Has anyone been recently, just wondering if my feet have any chance of staying dry with recent good weather, think you need to cross the river 6 times on the round trip.

A very good chance I would say: river levels around Crianlarich were pretty low last Sunday.

You can always go from Glen Lyon. There is a river crossing but it's very shallow.

Or from Achallader: options to make an interesting round with Beinn Achaladair and/or Beinn a' Chreachain. There is a reasonable path connecting the Dothaidh/Achaladair and Achaladair/Mhanach cols.

Should have mentioned that going this way you can visit Tigh nam Bodach too and that the track from the dam to the river crossing is easy cycling.

Thanks all, will have a look at Glen Lyon, failing that I will get some practise in for the long jump as suggested.

If the forecast stays the same might leave it and go further afield

I went the Glen Lyon way. It was a good circuit. Took the bike along the length of the loch.
Would recommend it.

If you are walking in Gleann Achadh-innis Chailein you are not going to have a problem for the next week or so. Dry as.

We did this one in April a couple of years ago from Auch, didn't have any problems with the river crossings. I wouldn't expect any problems there at the moment.
