White Mounth - clockwise or anti?

Hoping to do WM circuit this week. Was initially going anti-clockwise as per WH book, but see some favour clockwise , ie from the Broad Cairn end. Any key issues for either option?

It's a long walk out anticlockwise but at least all the hard work is done.

I went anti clockwise and it's a great walk- enjoyed the walk along the loch at the end ( you have the option of staying higher for a while before coming down)

I suppose: though:

If it's raining and cloud is low in the morning go clockwise- at least then you may have a view later on lochnagar

Bit late but I prefer doing it clockwise especially just now as they have been improving the path up to Meikle Pap recently and it's not finished yet and hard on the legs!!
