Gleouraich, anyone camped on the Druim Seilleach ridge ?

Gleouraich, anyone camped on the Druim Seilleach ridge ?

As the title says really, I'm looking at a possible wild camp on the flat shoulder of the Druim Seilleach ridge. Can anybody confirm it is as flat and 'grassy' as it looks in the pics from the walk reports I've read ?
Many thanks,
NP

Hello,
Druim Seilleac is one of the grandest of the stalkers paths and as I recall that at around 800 metres? there is a wee scoop probably used in the days when the Ghillie waited with a pony to get the call to reach and load up the Kill for the day.
A good place for a wee Bivvy perhaps. :)

If I remember correctly, there should be some flatish areas between the 840m top and the col between that and the final slopes. It won't be manicured grass, it'll be slightly bumpy, but I think you'd get a small tent pitched. It will, though, be fairly exposed to strong winds, though you might be able to tuck it below the crest in one of the shallow hollows.
