Hi Gorf01,
The facebook app is excellent and allows your friends and family to instantly see what hills you have written reports on. You can edit the security settings so that only those you want to have access so don't worry too much about giving away your life history. If you are on facebook or any other social networking site you have done that already

I don't think you can, unless you do a search for a person and ask to be a friend.

You could click that you like the latest poston the walkhighlands facebook page , this would allow people to see you and ask to add you....i think!!
