Bring on the snow.

Bring on the snow.

Those of us who like mountains also often like the snow. In the bigger picture, we're experiencing or hearing about disruption due to the stuff. Surely a few days disruption is preferable to a mild winter with associated flooding and long term damage. Some places, like parts of the Highlands, can be disrupted for more than a few days. But compare that with counting the cost of flood devastation for years. Bring on a cold winter!

Totally agree Simon. Last winter was rubbish - hardly any snow at all! Looks more promising this time, at least so far :D

Crossing everything for conditions to be properly bedded in by the time new year swings around. Hopefully it won't suddenly vanish.

Yep we had snow. As for the disruption cant say its been that bad here. Try not to drive at night and wait till you see the gritter/ plough in the day. Or just sit in and light the wood burner
