West Highland Way camping at Drymen

West Highland Way camping at Drymen

Postby wilkie67 » Sat Jan 20, 2018 6:03 pm

I will be walking theWHW from 17th May and was wondering if the Easter Drumquassle Farm Campsite will be open as I can't contact them or get any other info even from visit scotland. If it is closed is there any areas to camp in the same area?

Thanks Graeme

A quick Google and onto the UKcampsite website and they appear to be open all year round and this is copied and pasted from their website:

Apologies… We are currently redesigning the website.

Campers – please come and pitch your tents – no booking required

Please call 07546396170 with any enquiries.

It's a very basic site with a barn which has a couple of toilets and showers. There's a sink and a couple of picnic tables inside so you can eat. Payment was an honesty box when I was there last year-never saw anyone but I was away pretty early.
