Bikes and Beinn Pharlagain

Bikes and Beinn Pharlagain

Hi
I’m thinking of going up Beinn Pharlagain from Rannoch Station and will probably use the bike to get to the start of the route.
Can you take a bike up the approach track? The pictures of the track look encouraging but I wondered if there are any locked gates/fences as i’m not really up to lugging the bike over deer fences. :)

You'll get your bike up no bother, no locked gates from what I remember, certainly didn't need to clamber over anything

We were there two weeks ago, did the round of Pharlagain + two Munros. Very good track all the way up to the new hydro dam in the upper corrie. No gates/fences anywhere. The Corbett is a good viewpoint, you might be tempted to continue over the Munros :D

Thanks very much both - sounds good. Looking forward to it!

Was up Leum Uilleim last week and enjoyed using the train. The grand views and beer and food in the sunshine at Corrour Station afterwards helped too though.
