So if i can do Ben Cleuch...

So if i can do Ben Cleuch...

... i can start the easier munros right? Been doing a few walks in the pentlands to try to get a bit of fitness and did the circular route today (an even8ng of couch and football beckons).

Just starting, in overweight middle age, to get out into the hills. From what i can tell from the guides on here and a couple of books, the height gained and time taken, distance etc is on a par with Ben Chonzie, Mayar / Dreish, and pretty much anything on here

https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/news/our-pick-10-of-the-easier-munros/0013233/

Should be similar effort (knee pain, burning lungs, etc)?

Or any more suggestions welcome

Well, it's summer time, and loads of light, so why don't you take plenty of water and give it a go?

Go for it! There's another list here: http://www.stevenfallon.co.uk/10easy.html with some extras at the bottom of the page.

Yes definitely! Like someone else said, it's summer time so why not give it a go. Just make sure you're well prepared, check the weather and tell someone where you are going. There will likely be friendly people on whichever hill you choose. Happy hiking :)

I've climbed 4 Munros,3 of them are on your list.
Dunno which way you climbed Ben Cleuch but it's far more strenuous than the Munros.

Agree 100% with this. Ben Cleuch via the Law is a tough route!
Get out there and tackle some of the bigger ones.
