Beinn a'Chleibh from Succoth Lodge..

Has anyone ascended Beinn a'Chleibh from Succoth lodge recently? I gather there used to be a route that involved cycling along forrest tracks, then following the old drovers road along the path of the electricity pylons, before ascending via the South west side. It looks doable by map, but there has been so much tree felling there recently that may have changed.

I would like to climb it without Ben Lui (for reasons best known to myself), this route seems a bit more interesting (plus drier) than the usual route from Glen Lochy.

It's the same approach as for the Graham Meall nan Gobhar: the SMC Grahams book or recent reports here https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/grahams/meall-nan-gabhar should see you right.

Was fine two years ago and possibly a more interesting approach. There was a lot of work going on with the pylons that you’d hope would be finished by now.
It actually looked like you could sneak up the west ridge as there’s less forestry there than the map shows.
We added on the two Graham’s to extend the day.

Many thanks for replies, will definitely give it a try now. Adding the Grahams sounds like a good plan as well.
