hi all
although i love climbing all the mountains hills lumps and bumps our country has to offer i also love to walk the low level walks given in walk highland i've done quiet a few now and im beginning to lose track of what i've done wondering and it would be helpful if there was some kind of tick you can put beside a walk that you have completed ... any thoughts

You can link to any walk in your walks diary.

It wont give you a tick list as such but maybe less likely to forget.

It's pretty much impossible to list all walks due to endless route options. But you can tick off sections of recognised long distance routes such as the Scottish National Trail.

I enjoyed ticking off stuff on a big map I hung on a wall. Now it lives in a drawer but I've kept the habit to mark summits I climbed.

You can tick away to your hearts content on here https://www.hill-bagging.co.uk/ The only thing is that you will have to get your head round the difference between Marilyns, Tumps, Humps and all the other things people bag there from Trig points to the miscellany the O/S left behind while making the maps to SIBs (Significent islands of Britain) and Siblets. There is also a facebook page for addicts. I thought I had done well on the Marilyns (Sub2000s) but Boy oh Boy ( and most are boys), when it comes to bagging I am still in nursery school. One guy would go after the Ultras if so many weren't on war zones.

And to climb hills from high passes like Honister (this time last week). Then you LOOK as if you have climbed a lot. (Apologies for thread hijack).

My tick list's evolved over time - from the ambitious SMC NW Highlands guide to (thanks Knees) my current Cheviots one...
