It's a year ago the Gibson brothers lost their lives on Beinn Liath Mhor. The following tribute appeared in the Nairnshire Telegraph, with a moving poem by one of the two remaining brothers.

"In loving memory of Neil and Alan, lost to us one year ago on the slopes of Beinn Liath Mhor

Twa Cairns

I put up twa cairns on Beinn Liath Mhor
Twa cairns for ma brithers lost
Twa cairns for the eens that searched sare hard
Wi' never a thocht on the cost
Twa cairns for the guid folk had kent o' their lives
Twa cairns for the guid still unnamed
Twa cairns for the chiels that hid loved and been loved
Twa cairns for the love that remains"
