Don't recall any significant problems with it - had a look at my WR and it just talks about picking up water for a high camp with no mention of the water crossing. Looking at the map, I crossed to the east of Glenuaig Lodge and think you'd be a little to the west as I was headed up to Moruisg to camp. It does say it was quite dry at the time so not sure what difference it would make if you were going at a wetter time of year - cheers :)

I have no memory of it being a problem a bit further on near the lodge, we left bikes there then headed across the river.

For what its worth, we went up via Coire Fuar-Tholl Mor, which is a remarkable place, multi-tiered and wild, and highly recommended if you like to get off the normal routes. Quite a steep exit out the back, but OK. Apart from a literally 4 feet piece of flat ice that we couldn't pass without donning our crampons for all of 2 seconds, then taking them off again. There was no snow or other ice on the hill that Feb!

We crossed where it says ruin on the map. Don't remember any difficulties.
The coire is very impressive.

It's been a few years since I was there but I ascended from somewhere west of Glenuaig Lodge and don't remember any difficulties. I certainly managed it dryshod. I descended via the alternative route mentioned in the route description due to the severe weather on the summit that day. I then crossed back to the path somewhat to the east of Glenuaig Lodge. The river here was quite broad and I think it might have been a boots off job.

There are a few burns, but nothing of note, I started from Craig on my bike.

Just read husband's account for 2002, as I remembered we had some difficulty with this hill, but it wasn't the river which we had been dreading, but turned out to be easy, but the wind. The previous day, buses had been blown over in Edinburgh, we had seen wheelie bins being blown along the streets in Inverness and it had eased only slightly. I can still remember the manic flapping of husband's rucksack cover as he neared the summit, friend and I had been crawling up a sort of trench, but we had to emerge for the last 100m or so when five of us linked arms and leaned into the wind to get there.
