Hi Paul I'm a wee bit surprised that the walk description for this one hasn't been updated to include the landslide at the dam.
Apologies if it has been and I have inadvertently missed any updates.GLW

I have been informed that the tarred surface will be restored around Easter time....at the moment there is access for the Estate folks on a earth/mud surface. There is a locked gate across the road close to Kingie.
See on here a few images..... Problems on the road down to Kinloch Hourn etc.

Hi, the walk description has been updated - it's in bold in the summary section
https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/fortwilliam/sgurramhaoraich.shtml

Our current understanding is that hopefully the road may open before Easter. I hope so as it is possible people arriving at Kinlochhuorn on the Cape Wrath Trail looking to leave may get into difficulties.

No worries, lots of people miss it when there's a bold temporary note in the summary about diversions / closures etc. We probably need to look at changing the design for putting on temporary notes that don't get missed.
