Met a guy who said he was on his 54th Wainwght round. My googling cant identify him
Anyone know.?

Hillwalkers' register at https://www.ldwa.org.uk/hillwalkers/register2.php#Register2A gives a name and dates for the rounds.

I think once will do me!

54, that's bonkers! Suppose you get around them a bit faster than the Munros though. :lol:

Yes, they are a bit like donalds and donald tops in that you can do rounds that do a lot of hills in a day.

Small geographical area, too - no tearing from one end of the country to the other.

We keep meeting people who make us feel we aren't trying. On Monday it was a runner who did the Criffel hill race. We iooked up his time.. that of the winner named Lightfoot. Today we met a cyclist doing 110 miles 35 more than. me at my peak :crazy: What will tomorrow bring?

The Fairfield 'horseshoe' knocks off eight in one go I think (provided you don't get lost in the mist :oops: ).
