how far can you cycle past Bynack More towards Loch Etchacan

Thanks again any bike and hike fans
Have been at Derry Lodge many many times and was thinking about an alternate route in to Mheadoin and the others in there. Realistically (I am not Danny MacAskill) how far can you get on the track that leaves Glenmore Lodge, turns right and goes below Bynack More (have been that far before)
Thursday or Friday this week !

Not far. Probably to the footbridge at the River Nethy. :(

I was there last weekend, wishing I had taken my bike, and noted that you could cycle to the bridge over the Nethy. A bike would probably be more bother than it's worth beyond that.

Definitely not down the west side of Bynack More, that's boggy and as good as pathless. The east side - would be much more pushing than riding, from what I remember of walking it a few years back. Or carrying.

I suspect just walking over the plateau from the ski centre car park is the best bet for getting to Mheadoin from that side, even if you have a bike. I did meet someone doing that a few years ago, although he shortly came back as he'd forgotten his sandwiches. Offered him my surplus kit-kats, but wouldn't have been enough to fuel a whole day.

Many years ago on a Feshie/Lairig an Laoigh ride a few head-plants were endured....but since then the path has been improved down to the bridge. :)
