The Sandwood one is gorgeous - what a beautiful place - definitely all it's cracked up to be... still haven't got there yet but will no doubt visit while doing the Far North Munros - whenever that may be! Of course, I'm not likely to be submitting photos on this post as it's now huge and would take forever to load up on my home PC where my photos are!

2 contrasting ones here. Looking into Coire Lair from the shoulder of Beinn Liath Mhor, taken about 6 months apart. One of my favourite munros, have climbed it 4 times!

I agree with you maddjock, what makes this thread so good is the diversity of picture people have posted.

Like the two you popped on, its great to see the same shots in very different conditions

That was pretty much a fluke.. (okay, totally a fluke). I hadnt intended on replicating the original photo, infact, I had forgotten that I had taken it... those were the days when I was photographing everything and only by chance when I was going through some older pics and deleting ones that I wasnt too happy with, did it look familiar. Looks like I was about a foot or less away from my original position....
