fellbarrow and low fell questions

Does anyone know if Fellbarrow and/or Low Fell at present have any dog unfriendly stiles or unfenced cattle grazing on the route from Thackthwaite?

We go up Fellbarrow regularly, we live in Lorton. Given the approaches go through grazing pastures whichever way you go you will come across cows and sheep. However they are well used to both walkers and their dogs, cos that's what we do!
The pooch we take is bite sized so he gets picked up easily for the few stiles there are but if you've a bigger mutt then practice your weight lifting....

I was up there again this past June (after the great hill man and traveller Rowland Bowker's funeral - it felt right to climb a hill in his memory) and at the top of Fellbarrow a runner came along with his collie-cross and the dog just hurdled the stock fence at full speed without breaking stride, a fine sight.
