Could anyone suggest some walks?

Could anyone suggest some walks?

Postby sc00ba87 » Mon Jan 27, 2020 1:44 am

Hi all,

A few friends and I have been doing a bit of walking the last little while. We've climbed Ben Nevis, Ben Lomond (several times) and The Cobbler of late and decided to yo the ante and tackled Ben Vorlich & Stuc a'Chroin near Callander.

We are going to tackle Beinn Narnian & Beinn Ime next during the coming weeks.

Could anyone suggest any other walls of the same ilk or is there a designated spot on the page with walks covering various peaks? I've had a look around but I'm not particularly tech savvy and cant find it if there is lol.

Thanks in advance.

Click on the walks option on the bar at the top of the page, go down to search all walks and you can put in to search for Munros, Corbetts etc the max distance if you aren't wanting the longer routes, and select the grade :) You can also narrow your search by region.

There are some excellent books available that cover the Munros (and smaller hills), including one authored by Paul and Helen who run this site. As good as this website is, browsing a book is perhaps a better way of getting an overview of all the different hills in an area and the difficulty of the various routes.

I like to use another website - munromaps.co.uk to look per region at munro's and then use walkhighlands to determine routes. I always tend to look at the region first as well.
