How so?

That's fine, what else did you think my Zoom party was going to be about? :D 8)

By "unsafe" we mean some bampot can gatecrash your party & put willy picks up everywhere.

But it can be fixed:

Aren't there X box games where you can communicate in the game? Are they unsafe? People of my acquaintance were seriously considering this before they found an alternative "And to come to Agenda Item 4(b) Aaaargh, I need a bigger weapon".

I had a Zoom chat last night with a load of friends and our background pictures got a bit risque until I started switching in the pics of snowy Highlands mountains. No one said anything until I put the rubber horse head on.

I reccomend
1 . Watch Edie - great film
2. Read The Munro Society Journal-2020 - I'm reading it a few pages each day, and some stories are so inspiring. ( haven't got to yours yet Sgurr  )

To all our NHS workers, carers and key workers out there- keep up the fantastic work and cheers, its appreciated. Take care

Any other recommendations folks

I rather think you'll have a debate on your hands about Edie being a "great film".

For my part two things:

To keep the brain active: my part time PhD

To keep the body active: cycling 20 to 30 miles every other day

You're right lightfoot, it's not in the same league as True Grit or The Blues Brothers :D
I should have added IMO after I wrote that.
Anyway half way through the journal now, and it's great reading.
"The living mountain" is getting ordered in the next few days now. Dont know how many times I've picked it up in bookshops up over the years and put it back

I'm in grad school at the moment and all of my lectures are being delivered via Zoom. No gatecrashers with nudie pics yet! Also, having a .edu email address means I get the "pro" version for free, so I'm the one who's been elected to host my extended family's Family Bonding Time Zoom meetings. Wahey.

Trying to keep on top of my schoolwork while studying from home is taking up most of my time. I'm also trying to read for 30 minutes before bed each night (an actual book, not my phone), and stream some yoga classes. I also dug out my Offa's Dyke Path maps the other day. I want to do the Borders Abbeys Way next, and I have my itinerary for that pretty much figured out already, but another crack at Offa's is on the long-term radar and it can't hurt to start logistics-planning!
