Radio Scotland's Get It On is looking for songs about hills and mountains tonight, in preparation for tomorrow - there have been plenty mentioned here over the years!

PS. Though if the weather is as crap this weekend as the forecasts are saying, then might I recommend..

"Rain" or"Yellow Submarine" by The Beatles?
Or "Here Comes the Rain Again" by The Eurythmics?
Or "Its Raining Men" by The Weather Girls?
Or "Why Does it Always Rain on Me?" by Travis?
Or "A Hard Rain's Gonna Fall" by Robert Zimmerman?
Or "Purple Rain" by The Artist formerly known as Prince.

You get the picture. Its gonna rain this weekend. A lot. :?

Everything by Runrig :lol: but particularly:

Nightfall on Marsco (self-explanatory);
Suilven (although it's an instrumental);
The Summer Walkers (name-drops just about every hill North of Inverness); and
Loch Lomond (has a nod to "the steep steep sides of Ben Lomond").

I guess Going Home would also be a fitting ending:

"And now the skyline's reached my eyes,
The ridge stands out in Highland skies.
I just can't believe I'm going home." :clap:
