Overnight parking in Arrochar/Rest & Be Thankful area?

What's the current state of play with parking around the alps, and where nearby might I head to for a hike, hill & overnighter?

I've left my car over night at Ardgarten for the Brack and further up for Abyssinia Bothy. Never had any issues.

You could leave your car at Succoth too, if you arrive at 6pm and get away before 9am when the meters kick in again.

I've left mine at the lorry park on the bend near the start of the walk towards Abyssinia. I just parked sensibly so I wasn't in anyone's way.

We've left cars overnight at the Butterbridge car park without issue. That was for an overnight circular of the alps plus The Cobbler, camping near Loch Sloy.
Given the number of tents I've seen on the roadsides recently it definitely seems like you shouldn't have any trouble if you're discreet.

A couple of years ago I arrived just before middnight at Succoth, and camped at the side of the car park. I was up and away before 07.00am mind, and it was in the middle of a pretty icy winter :-).
