Cairngorm ski centre parking

Cairngorm ski centre parking

Postby denfinella » Sat Jul 11, 2020 7:35 pm

Anyone know if the car park at Cairngorm ski centre has reopened yet? For a possible walk tomorrow.

I remember reading somewhere that it was officially closed, but there was plenty of space to park before the car park entrance?

Both the top and bottom ski centre carparks are closed although the forestry car parks lower down are open. There is quite a bit of parking along the side of the road by the ski centre, especially if you get there early!

Thanks. I'd seen that but was optimistically hoping that they'd opened earlier than planned. Wednesday is a bit late for us, as we're already in the area and all the good weather is scheduled for tomorrow

Cheers. We should be there quite early, so that may be an option.

I've still a couple of routes to choose between, only one of which starts from the ski centre anyway, so may well opt for the other one...
