Bridge over the River Tulla (Beinn Achaladair)

Hi folks,

Looking for some advice, Planning a walk up Beinn Achaladair in the next few weeks, but i notice the walk reports state the bridge is down at 354468, is this still the case? If so is there a path or track on the south side of the river?

When I did this I did the route in the opposite direction and went up the corrie 1st. After Beinn a Chreachain, headed back to the 973 spot height on the map and headed straight down to the corner of the forestry. There's a stile over the deer fence (or was it a gate) and a couple of bridges to head toward to cross the railway

I crossed it last year. One foot in each girder.the other half crossed the burn.
Make your mind up when you see it I guess.

We followed the south side of the river, a faint path exists but it is very boggy in places. Depends how much you like bog-hopping

If you have a head for heights or have trained as a tightrope walker you can do the girders.

It's an easy hop across the river in dry conditions

I think the south side of the river would be my best bet, I normally have the dog with me so high level girder balancing is out. lol
