New phase of my life

New phase of my life

Postby Russell D » Fri Jan 12, 2018 6:51 pm

Hello all,
I am a New member that has been studying routes, posts, experiences and photos on this forum and site.
I am looking forward to the new challenges and satisfaction I will get from the first season out there, so waiting for slightly better weather to get my first "Munro in the bag" as I am a complete novice.
Hoping to free myself from the chains of work and get some breathing space in this next phase of my life.
Have a good season........

Never mind " Hoping to free myself or "waiting for better weather"
Get out there and make it happen!!
You'll get some good days out and memorable views
Take care and enjoy your travels. Maybe see you on a hill somewhere.

Whilst I totally agree with the sentiment of your post, Coop, I would recommend that Russell waits until the conditions underfoot improve before embarking on his adventures. The hills in full winter condition are probably not the safest place for a complete novice (unless he is with experienced companions of course).

But yes, get out there, enjoy, and take care, Russell.
