No, not COVID-19 or one of those dastardly horseflies. Not sure which one I'd rather have, to be honest. But it's the hillwalking bug I've caught.
I grew up in the Highlands - I can almost draw OS Landranger Sheet 36 from memory - but have lived in Glasgow since I was a student. For various reasons I've not done much walking for most of that time, but went up on Ben Donich the other weekend and remembered what I've been missing.
My first Munro was in 2005, total count is currently three - at this rate I'll compleat in the year 4253, which is surely in the running for the slowest round recorded. The promise I've made to myself is that I won't do Ben Nevis until I'm fit enough to do it via the CMD Arete!
