Greetings, and my July challenge

Hi everyone, I have been here a while now (and written one walk report - keep forgetting to do others!). This really is a fantastic resource for hiking in Scotland :D

3 years ago I could barely drag myself up the burial mound in the middle of Inverurie, but one knee surgery, some brain nonsense and starting running and hillwalking last year, the legs are getting there! Have worked through most of the Aberdeenshire sub 2000's, the 2 Aberdeenshire Grahams, and a few hills between my late father's house (preparing it for selling) and home.

In April this year, I started on the Munros. First was at the end of the Easter holidays (An Socach (Braemar), then Beinn Ghlas and Ben Lawers just before my 44th birthday at the end of May.

I then decided to set myself a challenge, so I am aiming for 15 Munros this month and raising money (in memory of my dad) for The UK Sepsis Trust.

So far have bagged
1st July - Carn Aosda, Carn a'Gheoidhe and The Cairnwell
3rd July - Conival and Ben More Assynt (that boulder field was brutal!)
8th July - Mayar and Dreish
12th July - Carn na Caim and A'Bhuidheanach Beag

Pencilled in the Lochnagar round for 27th or 28th
Probably going to do the Glas Maol round next week
Currently contemplating what to do on Sunday, and who I can drag along!

Thank you!

A bit of a delayed reply, but I did complete, with £400 raised for The UK Sepsis Trust so far, doing An Caisteal and Beinn a'Chroinn with Scrammiehunter on 20th July (probably my favourite 2 so far), then the Glas Maol round on 22nd.

Plans to bump the total to 20 with the White Mounth round on the 28th were shelved due to the weather forecast. (Did do these last weekend though, taking my overall munro total to 23).

Working on next challenges now, shorter routes as days get shorter.
