Hello from Perthshire

Postby Frogwell » Tue Mar 29, 2011 12:17 pm

Hello all,

I've been browsing the walk highlands site for quite a while to plan various ambles. For the most part I've been a day walker with any camping done while motorbiking. This year however I decided I should really do some multi day walks, so a little credit card abuse got me a Scarp 1 and a Berghaus C70 (great for those of us with knackered fifth vertebra) and made plans go off and do loads of walking and camping before the midges wake up. So far I've managed one over nighter, and I'm putting the blame for that squarely at the feet of work and weather.

Anyway, hello to all, hope to give some of you a cheery nod and smile on the hills at some point. Unless you're a crazy person, in which case please stay away, I don't want your beef burgers with onions or your Co-Op Swiss roll, no matter how yummy it may be.

Cheers,

Mark
