Hello everyone,
Here is the obligatory somewhat embarrassing introduction.
Erstwhile trail and mountain marathon runner (struggling with long-term PF), walker (backpacker? hiker?), whisky drinker and wannabe gear tart.
I have done a sprinkling of Corbetts and even Munros on events but never ticked them off. I have, however, purposely tackled Ben Nevis twice (both times being typically denied of any kind of a view), and spent a couple of days walking in The Fannichs a few years back. I now have plans to spend more time walking in the Highlands and taking time to enjoy it (rather than worry about the route to the next control). Hopefully if the work schedule allows it, I'll be taking my deferred place on the TGO next year.
