I used to do a lot of hillwalking over the Cairngorms and Glencoe area, but discovered Gliding, where i get the same views but less sore feet 😋 .I regularly soar over the mountains, 5 flights this year so far , all above 7500 feet, two got to 10,000, dont go higher to avoid complication of Oxygen systems.

I took Cameron McNeish up for an episode of his " Roads Less Travelled" TV series.. Tend to limit myself to.lower climbs on foot nowadays, age is catching up.

Welcome - good to hear from you. As for age - know the problem well and you have my sympathies

Welcome

Good way to solve the ageing knees issue. My version is to float a little lower...on the rivers and lochs! Still, the hills keep drawing me back.

I'd love to see any photos you have of the Highlands from above.
