You have my sympathy trying to get to Scotland from Essex - I only travel up from the Yorkshire Dales but it took me nearly 10 hours to get back tonight from 'quite up north'! Welcome to the site anyway...

Hi Ken,

My eldest son has just graduated and has got a job in Essex so I fear, for the first time in many years, I might have to venture down into the deep south
Welcome to the site.

All the best,

John
