Hello at last

Postby Yettie » Mon Aug 03, 2009 9:39 pm

Hello there. I've been a member now for a few weeks and at last I've got around to writing a few lines of introduction.

I live in Caithness, where the landscape is a bit flat, but the wonderful mountains of Sutherland are not far away.

I have only recently got back into hill-walking, after a break to look after elderly parents and then elderly dogs! Now I have a bit more freedom I'm determined to get onto the mountains more.

Hopefully, in time, I can contribute some walking routes for this part of the world.

Hi there. I've only been in Caithness once and it was very snowy - this winter. Like, really snowy! - the A9 was blocked. Liked it though the prehistoric monuments were mostly buried in white stuff!! It's not that flat - you have Morven :)
