After lurking around the site for a while, we figured it was time to say "Hello"
Wife and I recently started going on 'planned' walks and have found the website extremely rewarding in everything from choosing a route to reading other members walk reports. We had been looking for a way of spending what little quality time we have together and decided to get outdoors and enjoy some of the fantastic country we live in. So far we have only tackled a few lowland walks to help gauge our fitness, work out what kind of gear we need, brush up on the map reading and build up a little confidence but the bug has bitten us both rather badly
We're off out again this weekend around Kinlochleven, another easy one but the plan is to check out a few more challenging routes around the same area for future days.
