Hi everyone, just discovered this site and have to say it is nice to find such a great munro site. I began climbing the munros sixteen years ago at the age of 6 as my parents wanted to continue bagging and I got dragged along. Being from Birmingham it was never easy to get up to Scotland apart from in the school holidays and eventually I started to get the 'bagging bug' as I grew older. That bug has recently taken me to 204 munros but I am starting to panic about what will happen after I complete them. I hope to save A'Mhaigdean as my last although I got about two metres from the top a couple of years ago when an ice storm hit so we had to turn back as we were not camping overnight and needed to return to Poolewe. Lucky in a way as I find the Fisherfield Forest the most extraordinary place of all. There is no doubt that the Highlands can have an irresistable pull towards them and everyone I have ever been with to the North West has become addicted also. Unfortunately I won't be bagging again until easter due to uni studies but I wish everyone on here well and much enjoyment on their trips! All the best. Matt Kettle
