Hey everyone. I'm pretty new to Scotland (came to work in Aberdeen in Sept '07) and hillwalking but last year climbed my first 30 Munros all across the country. My favourites were the Cuillin on Skye (from Mhic Coinnich around to An Dorus though not including the Inn Pin!), Liathach and Bidean nam Bian.

I think this site is brilliant - the OS Map route, the GPS files and the walk description really help you both when planning and when actually out there. I thought I would sign up so I can contribute a few reports and share my experiences.

My latest walk was a short winter route which was a variation on this route.
