Hello

Good evening from myself, Ken...and The Fatdog :D . We come as a pair.

I've been dropping in on this site for the past year, picking up bits and pieces of the walking routes and its proved to be really helpful. I felt it was about time I said hello and said thanks for all the info and put something back in by way of recompense.

Kenmill tri "Dream of Dreams" (aka Maisie aka The Fatdog) and I have been walking for about 2 and a half years almost exclusively south of the Great Glen, everything from Munros to Coastal Walks. Hopefully I'll post up a few stories of our travels from time to time.

All the best

Ken

Hi Ken look forward to reading about your routes i,ve been meaning to take my own dog with me sometime but as yet i would never keep up with her (she' s a Siberian Husky) and its bad enough setting out on the hill first and being last back all the time as it is without my own dog getting the better as well

Hi there Ken - and fatdog - does he mind being called that? Don't want him to get a complex.

Glad the site has been useful - we were slower to get going south of the Great Glen but are getting up to speed now! Looking forward to hearing of your exploits :D

She...might have now  ! The pink sparkly diamente collar is the big giveaway...the dog's...not mine.

She's been called the Fatdog for about 3 years out of her almost 6 so I don't think she minds overmuch...as long as she's fed.

Thank you both for the welcome.

...cj, if you have a husky then in the current weather window you should be able to make the summits in record time if you hitch her up. I have been known to put the Fatdog's lead on her for a tow when I get tired. Mind you I'm still last up and back even with a tow :( .

That's a thought Ken but the last outing on Saturday saw me on my backside on the ice and the fear is if hooked up to her she wouldn't stop and i just get dragged to where ever the Fancy took her (probably the first mountain hare she got a sniff of)
