Hello from scotrail driver

Hello All
My name is Stuart and have just joined the site .
Just started the outdoor thing a few years ago, My 40th did the WHW AND LOVVVVEED IT
And the training was great,ihave to thank my pal robert he helped me . Now i done It 2 times
and the last year we done the The RBS Caledonian Challenge 54 mile in 24 hours in 24 hr 40 min
never checked out at Inveroran and had to walk back and check out. Now i started more climbing
that i was doing before with my mate. I have done 6 munros now and NEVIS and Buachaille Etive Mòr
twice so hope to get more in when the snow melts.
My last walk was on Sat 07th FEB , was up Ben Chabhair but only walked to the lochan snowing and
windchill,turned back to car up and down in 4hours,but path way up from Beinglas farm was very slippy
but got down in one peice. thanks will be asking for help with routes and stuff so hope you can help me

Hi Stuart welcome to the site I'm a new member quite recently and everyone helps each other here as we all have something to learn from each other cracking site this with no limits of information :)

Hi Stuart and welcome to the site.....see you're from Clydebank. I'm originally from Old Kilpatrick and worked BTP at Dalmuir....now in Perth!! I've attempted the Caley Challenge twice now.....gave up at Tyndrum on the first attempt and finished the second. Never do it again though!! Enjoy the site

Yes it was hard but fun from start to fin,was enjoying the pampering at Inveroran
and got rushed out and missed the check out so thats why i did not burst the 24hr time,So thats
in the back of my mind to go and burst that time, so will do it again one year.
But for now just want to get more munros in the bag and take in the views from the tops .

Memories of a very painful rubdown at Inveroran on the first attempt!!! Very impressed with the organisation though. Enjoy the Munros but don't forget the Corbetts....just as good, if not better!!
