I’m new to walkhighlands and wondered if there’s a facility to search for friends and their user names.

I’d be grateful if someone could point me in the right direction.

That's a fair point but what I meant - although not worded very well - was how can you actually find them without going through forums such as this to try and find their user name.

In short, even if you know their user name there doesn't appear to be a facility to search for and access their profile unless you can actually find a post by them.

Does that make sense?

There may be more logical way, but the only way I am aware of is:

-Click on the 'Forum' button along the top menu bar.
-Scroll to the bottom of the page where there is a statistics section.
-click on the 'total members' figure (which is around 112,000 or something just now).
-this will take you to a full list of WH members. There is a further link on that page to search for users.

You will need to know what usernames you are looking for, as there is no facility to see people's real names (unless they have picked that as their username).
