Hiking the past few years.

Tried Ben Nevis recently in full on winter conditions. Didn't get to summit.
Love Scotland and will be back.
Hoping to introduce camping to our treks 8)

Hi.
Since I am not far from Stranraer, I have often thought of a weekend camping and walking in Northern Ireland, what are the highlights in the north?

Hello Jim,

I spend my time hiking in Donegal. Plenty of walking and beautiful scenery there. I can definitely recommend it.
In other parts of the North there's the Mournes and the Sperrins. The Mournes would be closest to you. Although I haven't been there.... Yet!

Thanks for that advice. I'll consider for August or September.
