Hello from St. Louis, MO, USA

Hello all!

My name is Stevie Wolff and I am excited to join this group. I live in the states but my heritage lies in the highlands. On a recent trip my fiance and I climbed Carn Mor Dearg and attempted the arete to Ben Nevis but due to strong winds and a short holiday we were not able to take on the arete (this time). I am already planning my next trip when I plan to complete a full round of the Munros.

Looking forward to hearing stories and advice from you all,
Stevie

Hello Stevie. Welcome to the group. How long are you staying? You do realise there are 282 Munros. Would require a legthy stay to complete "a full round".

We have a friend from St. Louis. He is younger than us, and also has a personal trainer so is much fitter. We are looking for easier and easier Munros as he comes across on business once a year and bribes himself so to do with a Munro (with us). At the rate of one or two a year, he has just managed 22 Munros (I think). Enjoy your time in Scotland...he and his wife certainly do.
