Hi All,
What an excellent web site this is! I'd like to thank the chap who was part of a group staying in the hostel in Crianlarich last Saturday night (26th Jan) for introducing me to it. I travelled up on the sleeper train for the weekend and they also recommended the hostel at Loch Ossian for another visit which I will certainly do. Anyone from that group reading may be interested to know that I had an excellent day in the Crianlarich hills on Sunday, but the lady with the red hair was correct when she said she didn't think I'd make it all the way over to Inverannan to get the bus back, I was on the summit of An Caisteal at 4pm so had a race to get down before dark!
I've spent the last two evenings looking back at all my old notes and updating my Munro's list - slightly disappointed its only 58, 27 years after my first visit. But that's living in Hampshire for you.
I'm off to update the Corbetts list.....

Hi and welcome! - glad you enjoyed Crianlarich, it is such an excellent base for the hills... although not quite handy for Hampshire.

Marginally easier from Birmingham where I am, but still needs some planning and use of annual leave.
