Hi everyone,
Pretty new to hillwalking. Outdoor experience mainly comes from when I was in the Cubs. Although I did walk up Ben Nevis with my parents when I was 12 (23 years ago).
Anyway, last year I took my kids up Conic Hill and on Saturday there I took the wife up Ben A’an. We enjoyed it so when I heard about Munro bagging I thought “that’s for me”.

So theory is, if I start on the easiest Munros first, while the kids are still young (11, 8 and 5), then when they’re older they have a wee head start if they would like to continue.
As I mentioned, I’m new to this so you’ll all probably see me pestering you with questions and asking for advice lol.

Always think that Ben A'an is a super hill for an early ascent, the views are so great. In case you haven't found it yet, there is an article on the easy Munros. Enjoy.
