I've done this a few times, from Linn O'Dee via Derry Lodge and over the shoulder of Cairn a Mhaim to Corrour is about eight miles but they are long, wearying miles with a certain long uphill gradient about them whoch makes it worse than straight mileage as seen on a map. From Corrour on to Aviemore is a similar distance to the road then hitch a few more miles into Aviemore itself. The distance from where the path meets the road to Aviemore is surprisingly unpleasant. The part from Corrour through the Lairig Ghru is very rough with a lot of stepping on and off boulders. Be careful of the pools in the pass itself, they will likely have steep banks of frozen snow around them so don't get too close. Also rock fall is always a danger in the enclosed, steep-walled part of the pass so behave like a wee, coorin', timorous beastie and scurry between big rocks for shelter. The bothy at Corrour is usually very busy at weekends, get in early to lay out your sleeping bag before the other hundred or so arrive!
*Do not be tempted to go to Corrour via the White Bridge and Cist O'Dee route, it is tedious in the extreme.
