Just joined as a geriatric walker bereft of ambition in the matter of world records, munros and distances greater than 15 miles. Now reduced to more level gradients than hitherto and have, consequently, developed a fondness for dismantled railway lines like the Deva Way. Hoping to move on to the Formantine and Buchan Way later this month.
If anyone reads this I have a small query about the site. On the map which shows all the Scottish Long Distance walks, the majority of the walks are shown in red but some (eg the Aran Coastal Route) is shown in blue. Are the colours significant - I've tried to rationalise them without success?
