Hello from East Kilbride!

Hi,
I have just registered for WH. Like others I have used the WH over the years to check out routes and reports which have been a great help in my quest to complete the Munros. I was planning on finishing them this year - 4 to do - but recently had an accident at a climbing wall and dislocated and fractured my foot. I guess the hills will still be there next year.
I will be reading others reports over the coming months to keep me motivated.

That's tough luck with the knackered foot, best rest up and let it heal. When better weather comes and you are gasping to get out, try open canoeing. There are places at Loch Lomond, Loch Ard and Loch Tay where you can hire an open canoe for a bit of paddling around with no weight on the injured foot.

Open canoeing ~ excellent alternative to hiking with a sore foot.
