Walk quite a bit with our local rambling club in Cumbria. Never really gone out of Cumbria so much to see.Sometimes go walking with my lad who is in the Army. Got the bug when I was in Junior school about 40 years agoWife has been out with me a few times not anything really spectacular but at least is having a "go".

Hi L and welcome. Whilst the focus is upon Scotland there are a few Lakes experts on the site. Haven't been to the Lakes myself, but I'm looking at the possibilities.
