Hart Side and Birkett Fell
This was a very straightforward walk up from Dockray. A steady, fairly uninspiring ascent, mainly following a wall, which nevertheless does give some good views of Ullswater, particularly from Brown Hills.

Thirlmere from Hart Side

Birkett Fell has a fine cairn on its summit, more impressive than the one on Hart Side.

A pleasant enough stroll after quite a strenuous day yesterday.
